Why this kind of app is expensive

Age verification and identity checks on every creator are a legal requirement before a single piece of paid content goes live, not an optional trust feature.

A paywall has to gate individual pieces of media at the storage layer itself, or a leaked link bypasses the entire business model.

Moderation for adult content is stricter and more continuous than moderation for a general platform, and creator payouts require tax-form collection per jurisdiction, a compliance system most content apps never need.

The cheapest honest version of this idea is subscriptions only, no pay-per-view, no direct messaging at launch. That lands nearer $29k–$65k.
