Why this kind of app is expensive

A block-based editor where every paragraph, table, and embed is its own draggable unit is genuinely hard to build correctly — closer to a small operating system for documents than a text box.

Real-time multiplayer editing means conflict resolution has to be solved properly when two people type the same paragraph at once, not approximated.

Letting users build databases and relations inside documents blurs the line between a note-taking app and a spreadsheet engine, and offline support means reconciling edits made with no connection at all.

The cheapest honest version of this idea is single-player documents only, no real-time multiplayer, no offline sync. That lands nearer $28k–$62k.
