Why this kind of app is expensive

Moving real money through a regulated brokerage means KYC, AML, and suitability checks before an account can place a single trade.

Live market data and order execution have to be accurate to the cent, with no room for a stale price.

A full audit trail is a regulatory requirement, not a logging nice-to-have, and it has to survive an actual audit.

Bank linking and ACH transfers are their own integration surface with real fraud risk attached.

The cheapest honest version of this idea is watchlists and paper trading only, no real order execution or bank linking at launch. That lands nearer $30k–$68k.
